Every project begins with a conversation. Reach out by phone or email to tell us a little about your space, your vision and what you hope to achieve. We will then schedule an initial consultation at your home to discuss your project in greater detail.

Initial Consultation
The first consultation is a complimentary one-hour meeting. During this meeting, we’ll get to know you, your space and your goals. We’ll discuss your lifestyle, design preferences, functional needs, budget and timeline to develop a clear understanding of your vision.
From this initial consultation, we can establish the anticipated scope of the project and provide an initial range of project costs. This allows us to ensure the vision, scope of the project and investment range are aligned before moving forward.
Once you have committed to your project with Chignon, you’ll receive access to your personalized client portal, where you can view project notes, updates and follow your design journey every step of the way.

Initial Concept and Design Presentation
Following the initial consultation and commitment to Chignon Interiors’ services, we’ll create a tailored design concept for your space. This may include mood boards, material boards, colour palettes, renovation recommendations, furnishings and visual inspiration, allowing us to establish the overall aesthetic and ensure we are aligned with your vision before moving into detailed design development.
We’ll present the concept to you in a detailed meeting and discuss your initial feedback. Following the presentation, supporting materials will be uploaded to your Client Portal, allowing you to revisit the design as the project evolves.

Design Development
With the design direction approved, we’ll begin refining the details of your project, including specific material selections, furnishings and overall project investment. During this phase, we’ll source furnishings, materials, lighting, artwork and décor while developing layouts and design plans tailored to your space.
As selections are finalized, specifications, visual updates and project milestones will be uploaded to your Client Portal throughout the design process.

Final Design & Procurement
Once the design and product selections have been finalized, we’ll present your completed design package for approval. This includes all furnishings, materials, finishes, layouts, and specifications selected for your project.
For projects involving renovations, we’ll coordinate directly with our trusted renovation partner to ensure design details are clearly communicated and carried through to execution. Following approval, we’ll begin procurement and coordinate orders, deliveries, and project timelines to keep everything moving smoothly.
Your Client Portal will remain updated throughout this phase, giving you access to approved selections, order updates, and key project milestones.

Implementation & Styling
With the design approved and materials procured, it’s time to bring your vision to life. For renovation projects, we’ll coordinate closely with our renovation team to ensure every design detail is executed with care, precision and attention to detail.
Once design, construction and deliveries are complete, we’ll oversee the installation of furnishings, artwork, décor, and finishing touches, thoughtfully styling the space to achieve a cohesive and polished result. For clients selecting Chignon’s Turn-Key services, this final phase can extend beyond installation and styling to complete household setup, organization and settling-in, preparing a residence truly ready for living.
The final outcome is a home that looks beautifully curated & feels considered, complete and distinctly yours.
Every project is individually considered and tailored to scope. To ensure the level of design, project management and execution our clients expect, Chignon Interiors accepts projects beginning at established minimum investment levels.
Thoughtfully considered from the beginning
Every Chignon project is individually tailored to the home, the scope of the work and the level of service required. Establishing a realistic investment from the outset allows us to develop a design that is both beautifully considered and realistically executable.
To provide the level of design, project management and attention to detail our clients expect, our projects generally begin at the following combined investment levels:
Interior Design and Furnishings
Projects starting at $15,000
For design projects where renovation is not required. This investment includes Chignon design service fees together with the furnishings, lighting, decor and finishing elements selected to complete the space.
Renovation Projects
Projects starting at $30,000
For focused residential renovations and improvements. This investment encompasses renovation service fees and project materials, with scope tailored to the requirements of the space.
Full-Service Design and Renovation
Projects starting at $50,000
For projects requiring both design and renovation. This integrated investment and process brings together Chignon design services, renovation, materials, furnishings and finishing elements for a cohesive result from concept through to completion. Design fees, renovation fees, materials and furnishing costs.
Turn-Key Services
Individually scoped and priced
For clients seeking a fully prepared residence, our Turn-Key services can encompass design, renovations, furnishings, procurement, delivery and installation, household essentials, organization and final settling-in. Turn-Key projects are individually scoped according to the residence, level of furnishing and services required. For clients relocating to Calgary, the project can be arranged to be Turn-Key ready with just a suitcase in hand, or our team can assist with receiving your personal contents and unpack for your arrival.
Project investment varies according to scope, furnishings, materials, construction requirements and level of service. A preliminary investment range will be discussed during your initial consultation.
